Skipper improves his Oregon state hammer throw record

Junior Greg Skipper (Oregon City, OR) added another foot to his own Oregon State hammer throw record with a throw of 66.32m (217-07) at the Oregon USATF Age Group Throws Meet II on Tuesday. Skipper set the previous Oregon state record in April with a throw of 216-08. His new mark was the top high school mark in the competition. Javelin standout Sam Crouser (Gresham, OR) won the javelin competition with a nice toss of 73.62m (241-06).
