Singing DayPublished by
Wednesday was signing day and a few top high school throwers officially committed to the college they will represent next year. Among that officially committed was Greg Skipper (Oregon City, OR). Brad Bolton (El Toro, Lake Forest, CA) also committed to the University of Michigan. Bolton is the nation's top returner in the hammer throw and Skipper is the number two returner. John Wlasuk (Newton, Sandyhook, CT), who has thrown 59'4" in his first year with the weight throw, also committed to the University of Connecticut. DyeStat has a more comprehensive list of commitments among all high school athletes. Many of the nation's top girls have yet to decide where they will attend school next year, including national leaders Shelby Ashe (St. Pius X, Atlanta, CA) and Diana Levy (Kennesaw Mountain, Kennesaw, GA). If you have information about more athletes that signed a letter of intent this week, please pass it along to HSHammer.com.
