Results of Centralia Hammer meet
Held Sunday 4-7-13 at Centralia High School in Centralia, Washington
Weather: Cold, rain, and wind

High School girls 4 kilo
1. Hanna Frost, 11th, Mary M. Knight, 116'10" (Lifetime best)
2. Kylie Eager, 12th, Tahoma, 92' (Lifetime best)
4. Grace Workman, 11th, Tumwater, 84'2" (Lifetime best)

Hanna Frost improves to 116’ 10”, just 3’ 2” from making Bob Gourley’s National cut off list standard. Kylie gets another lifetime Best and this is Grace’s first meet ever.

High School boys 12lb
1. Andy Miller, 12th, Capital, 198'10" (Lifetime best)
2. Brock Eager, 11th, Tahoma, 192'11" (Lifetime best)
3. Triton Pitassi, 12th, Camas, 187'11"
4. Brayden Eiland, 10th, Centralia, 123' (Lifetime best)

Miller wins, with a PR that is just under 200 feet. This improves the 2013 State lead. Eager has another big PR throwing over 190 for the first time in his life and he is only a junior. Triton Pitassi opens up defense of his 2012 State of Washington Hammer Throw title with a very nice 187’ 11 inch toss.

Open Woman 4 kilo
1. Hanna Frost, 11th, Mary M. Knight, 109'2"
2. Kylie Eager, 12th, Tahoma, 93'10" (Lifetime best)
3. Grace Workman, 11th, Tumwater, 88'3"

Kylie gets another lifetime best and gets closer to the 100 foot mark.

Open Men’s 16 lb hammer:
1. Andy Miller, 12th, Capital, 173'7" (Lifetime best)
2. Brock Eager, 11th, Tahoma, 144'6" (Lifetime best)
3. Brayden Eiland, 10th, Centralia, 98'1" (Lifetime best)


Boy’s athlete of the meet: It is another close call between Miller and Eager, considering both got lifetime bests. Brock goes over 190 for the first time but Miller also gets a PR in the 16lb ball with a very nice throw. Miller gets the edge with two lifetime bests.

Girls athlete of the meet: Kylie Eager gets the award for throwing two lifetime bests, but it was close with Hanna getting another lifetime best and getting closer to 120’.
