The Evergreen Athletic Fund will be hosting a youth hammer clinic in Seattle on October 25th. For those interested, it will be a good opportunity for beginners to learn more about the event and more advanced throwers to perfect their technique. Coaching will be provided by former University of Washington All-American Martin Bingisser, current University of Washington All-American Zack Midles and Team USA member Mike Mai. Mike is a Major in the U.S. Army and also a member of the northwest throws community after being assigned to Fort Lewis last spring. He recently placed 21st at the World Championships.
