While there were few improvements among the top girls over the past
week, there was plenty of action on the boy's side. Ben Stancombe
(Bloomington South, IN) makes his debut on the list this weekend with
an impressive toss of 218'04". Stancombe is also has a PR over over 60
feet in the shot put and entered the season with a personal best of
202'. Next year he will throw for the University of Iowa. Enrique
Gaitan (Spayberry, Marietta, GA) also improved last week to become the
12th thrower to break 200 feet this season. AleC Faldermeyer (Minisink
Valley, Slate Hill, NY) also improved his personal best with the
international 6-kilogram hammer to 211'04". He now ranks second in the
nation with that implement.
