Now that my finals and the NCAA Championships have concluded, updates to this site should be more timely.
Several notable performances took place over the weekend, including three new class records. On Saturday, freshman Conor McCullough (Chaminade, West Hills, CA) broke his own national freshman class record with a throw of 206'03" at the Team Thor Thunder Series Throws Meet in La Jolla, California.
On Sunday, back east, two more records were broken. Wesley Wright (Villa Rica, GA) broke the 6 kilogram sophomore class record with a toss of 195'02" at the Georgia Hammer Games. Lastly, Walter Henning (St. Anthony's, South Huntington, NY) nearly became the second American to ever break 250' with a new personal best and junior class record of 249'02" at the Island Games. His only other legal throw also measured 248'00".
